Abstrak

Bullying among secondary school adolescents was a psychosocial issue that negatively affected mental health, school safety, and learning quality. Limited understanding of bullying forms, impacts, and prevention strategies often led to the normalization of bullying behavior within school settings. This community service program aimed to improve students’ knowledge through interactive anti-bullying psychoeducation at MAN 1 Banjarmasin. The intervention involved 21 students from grades X, XI, and XII through structured counseling, multimedia presentations, and participatory discussions. Evaluation was conducted using an open-ended questionnaire with pre-test and post-test approaches and was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results demonstrated an increase in the mean knowledge score from 17.9 ± 2.5 to 21.4 ± 2.1. A total of 19.0% of students improved from a moderate to a good knowledge category, with no decline identified. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference before and after the intervention (p = 0.046). Interactive psychoeducation make strengthened students’ literacy in bullying prevention and supported the creation of a safe and supportive school environment.
