Manajemen presensi untuk tenaga kerja lapangan sering kali tidak efisien dan rentan terhadap manipulasi, sehingga menciptakan tantangan signifikan dalam menjaga akuntabilitas operasional. Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) menawarkan potensi besar untuk otomasi, namun penelitian yang ada sering kali belum menyajikan sebuah solusi holistik yang portabel, terjangkau, dan mampu memberikan validasi berlapis yang tak terbantahkan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan dan mengevaluasi sebuah sistem presensi portabel berbasis IoT yang dirancang untuk mengatasi celah tersebut. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan arsitektur perangkat keras modular (Arduino Uno dan ESP32-CAM), mengintegrasikan Near Field Communication (NFC) untuk identifikasi, Global Positioning System (GPS) untuk validasi lokasi, Network Time Protocol (NTP) untuk integritas waktu, serta kamera untuk bukti visual, dengan data yang dikirim secara real-time ke layanan cloud. Pengujian fungsional dan kinerja menunjukkan reliabilitas sistem yang sangat tinggi dengan 100% Task Success Rate (TSR) pada semua skenario uji dan waktu respons end-to-end rata-rata 5,25 detik. Model arsitektur yang tervalidasi ini menawarkan sebuah kerangka kerja yang praktis dan kokoh untuk implementasi sistem presensi cerdas, secara signifikan meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam manajemen tenaga kerja lapangan.
