Abstract

Generative artificial intelligence offers teachers new opportunities to develop learning media more quickly, adaptively, and attractively, but its adoption is still constrained by limited AI literacy, technical skills, and pedagogical readiness. This article reports a community service program in the form of a one-day interactive workshop for teachers in Mesuji Regency, conducted at SMAN 1 Simpang Pematang on 13 October 2025. The problem was addressed through conceptual briefing, live demonstration, guided practice, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test. The training focused on large language models for LaTeX-based slides and the integration of Google Veo, Canva, and text-to-speech for educational video production. The activity involved 40 teachers from different levels and subject areas. Results showed improved participant understanding, alongside better operational skills, high engagement, and the ability to produce draft instructional media by the end of the session.
